Reliable Subie Garage-RSG

I have a 2015 Subaru WRX that sat for a year after the clutch went out, and I’m very picky about who works on my cars. A colleague recommended RSG, and after speaking with them I knew my vehicle was in good hands. They kept me updated throughout the repair, were upfront about costs, and finished the job quickly. When I picked it up, I could tell it had been personally cared for. This shop is truly reliable!

Had the most horrible experience at a Peoria dealership denying valid warranty work and these guys got my car in and replaced the engine lightning fast! Dealership held my car for a month and Reliable did it in ONE DAY. great work guys! I appreciate your help!

These guys are quick to run their mouths but do crappy stuff like leave bolts loose. Turns around and recommends a new motor for a broken exhaust stud. Charges my long time customer 35,000 ish dollars for a ej207 swap that ran on 3 cylinders. Leading myself and another close builder/tuner to rebuild it when it killed that same cylinder it had been missing on. ….same motor now 2+ years strong…making high hp. Don’t let their close monitoring of google reviews make u feel crazy when u know you are getting screwed!! If anyone feels like this is bs that’s ok I have a folder of every car they screw up that I fix😂❤️ saving it for a rainy day. Larry stop running your mouth if your tech can’t even tighten all the bolts.

Larry is the man! He’s fast, honest, and—as the business name states—reliable. He’s extremely thorough and even pointed out a couple of things about my car that I wasn’t aware of. Plus, he included photos and old parts when returning my car, which I really appreciated. If you own a Subaru and need a trustworthy mechanic, you owe it to yourself to take it to Larry. Unlike RAworx, which doesn’t seem to understand customer service, Larry goes the extra mile. He even texted me after I left the shop to ensure I was satisfied with the work done on my car. Do yourself a favor—go to RSG if you need your car serviced or repaired. You won’t regret it!

Reliable is an understatement!!! This is the best Subaru repair shop I have ever come across in the country. I have dealt with many! I will never consider going to any other shop. They are very affordable and extremely good with all sorts of repairs. They are extremely knowledgeable and honest. I would go to them over the dealership and it will be a fraction of the price!

Best Subaru shop I've worked with so far! RSG worked on a `16 STI with a completely blown turbo and resulting oil leakage. Which Larry assessed efficiently and collaborated with me to design a set of improvements that addressed the core of the problem, and not just placed an expensive bandaid on the problem. The car needed a new turbo, turboback exhaust with accompanying tune from Cobb, as well as a 2" lift with more robust wheels and tires (w/ roof rack spare); finished with a new radiator and filters. All in all- a lot of work and new parts. Which Larry and his team located, ordered, and installed very efficiently. While communicating clearly and genially throughout the process and charging reasonable amounts. I could not be happier with the result. Which is not a trivial statement given how the work included major changes across several of the vehicle's critical systems. Which turned out as stable as they've ever been. I lost no handling with the lift and new/wheels tires, but gained critical clearance and rigidity for handling rally course type of dirt roads. The car is a treat to drive and I owe a ton to Reliable Subaru Garage for getting me there! PS: Larry is the type of person to take his personal time to help me raise a hitch on my truck when he saw the flatbed carrying my STI was sitting a bit too low. An action that shows that he actually cares. Means the world!

Very knowledgeable about Subarus, gave me a straightforward estimate of the work that should be done with the mileage of my car, explained why and answered any questions I had, showed me the parts they replaced and how far they were worn, got my car back very quickly. Will be going back again.
