I found the Genesis I was looking for at an Orange County dealership and had an appointment for the next day. I happened to find the same vehicle at my local dealership, La Quinta Genesis. I called and explained I am ready to buy and would prefer to deal locally if they could make it happen. From the first call to Martin, I felt this was the place I wanted to do business with. He guided me through the process, made a fair deal and showed me all the options on the car. The finance manager Eric was great (thank you for your service USMC). There was a small issue with the windshield I found as soon as I got it home. They told me to come back in the morning. The service department took care of ordering a new windshield and it was installed a couple days ago to perfection (Thank you Sandy and Jonathan)! This is a locally owned family dealership and has been the best car buying experience I have had. Thank you to everyone at Genesis / Hyundai La Quinta. Highly recommend!

Subject: Disappointing Lease Experience at La Quinta Genesis/Hyundai I am writing to share my extremely negative experience with La Quinta Genesis/Hyundai. I was in the market for a Genesis GV70, drawn in by the national lease advertisement of $599/month for the preferred larger engine and 10K annual mileage. After test driving the vehicle elsewhere, I located four identical models with similar options and MSRP at various dealerships, all quoting lease prices around $620-$630/month with some added features. La Quinta Genesis/Hyundai had the exact same vehicle in my preferred white exterior. I visited on Saturday and spoke with Abel in Sales, leaving my contact information for a lease quote. When I didn't receive a call, I followed up on Sunday and spoke with Jesus, who promised a quote after speaking with his manager. Later that day, Jesus texted me an exorbitant quote of $892/month. When I called to explain the significantly lower quotes I had received from other dealerships for the same vehicle and offered to sign immediately if they matched, Jesus rudely dismissed me, stating, "sounds like you got a great deal, goodbye," and hung up. I was shocked by the salesperson's rudeness and the dealership's unwillingness to even discuss, especially given their dramatically higher price compared to other dealers. Consequently, I purchased my GV70 from another dealership later the same day and have shared my negative experience with La Quinta Genesis/Hyundai with everyone that I know.

Had an issue with a product sold to me when I purchased my 2025 G80. GM called and quickly resolved the issue and I found this dealership responsive to the consumer

Before coming to La Quinta Genesis, my home location was the Palm Springs Genesis. Palm Springs was APPALLING to say the least, their service coordinator Jenna made me feel as if I was unworthy of being a client, and never took any of my issues seriously; stating none of my concerns were covered under warranty and I was the cause for everything. When she told me I need to speak with corporate to dispute these concerns, I asked for the phone number and she spewed out "you can google it". Her demeanor was atrocious making me feel as if I made the worst mistake with purchasing a Genesis; I was days away from turning in my vehicle for one of your competitor's. La Quinta Genesis's entire team completely changed my experience in the most positive way from my phone call all the way to finishing my vehicle. They relieved me of my worries by letting me know ALL of my concerns were actually in fact covered under my warranty (which raises serious concern about the integrity and knowledge of the staff at Palm Springs Genesis). They were gracious, friendly and most importantly accommodating throughout the entire process. I was beyond satisfied with their troubleshooting and problem solving. I will be choosing this location from here on out. Thank you La Quinta Genesis!!

,If you are looking to purchase a Genesis , which i assume is why you are on this site check in with Greg Dixon the Internet Manager. He is extremely professional, knowledgable, comfortable to work with and is easily accesable. Purchasing a car from Greg was a great experience and I highly recommend contacting him when you are ready to purchase your new car.

Please Read: Wednesday I go to my favorite dealership to get my new mud guards installed. This is a very good dealership and let me tell you why. I sold cars and managed dealerships for over 20 years I treated my customers like gold. If they were not happy I would not sell them a car,but I've never had a customer that was not happy with me. I found that at this dealership in Genesis Palm Desert. Totally a great experience in sales and follow up and service. everybody should have a great experience. All dealerships will not be the same. All the owners of these dealerships are owned by different people. You need to be happy. If a person can't deliver you a smile or joke with you on the phone, or in person to make you feel at ease, or if your not happy with the sales person, ask for the manager. you should enjoy your GV70 experience. This Genesis dealer may have the worst service department in the country. They have misdiagnosed my car four times for an airbag issue. The last time I had it in the mechanics disconnected half of the electrical systems in the car which I didn't realize until had driven the car out of town. It takes forever to get in and out of the service department so I have burned up untold hours dealing with this. I love the car but I am very close to invoking the Lemon Law. If there was another Genesis dealer nearby I would never return here.
