Excellent experience purchasing my new Hyundai Kona! My sales representative Ruben Romero was absolutely the best! He was very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate! He ensured I was receiving all the important information in the process. I never felt pressured by him to purchase a specific model. He listened to my preferences and understood my needs. I told him my price point and he ensured the deal was able to be executed! Everyone at the dealership was willing to help make the purchase positive including Jeff, the final point when you sign all the paperwork. I left feeling very happy and confident about my purchase! Recently I purchased 2025 Hyundai Tucson hybrid limited from this dealership. Sales agent was Ruben. Ruben was amazing and friendly. No pressure tactics. Two problems I encountered with the rest of the sales management team. 1. They tried to low ball my tradein significantly. I was trading in my Toyota RAV4. Kbb and other dealerships gave me a fair value between a low value of 5000 and high value of 6300$. On the other hand Pedder Hyundai s manager said 1000$. Then his manager came and said he would not even give 500$. Then I said I will come back after trading in with other Hyundai dealership in town. I genuinely had a guy waiting and wanting to buy my RAV4 for 5500$. Pedder Hyundai sales manager made me call this other Hyundai dealership in town and only after hearing the conversation over speaker, they came up with exact price the other guy was offering. 5500$. Moral of the story: if you don't know you can get ripped off. 2. Two days after I purchased the vehicle, the same dealership offered 3000$ discount on the same vehicle. I was on their mailing distribution list. I showed this to them and asked them to price match. They have me some bull sheet reasons. It's their own dealership offering discounts. But they refused to match. 3. Similarly Hyundai had sent me discount coupon of 500$. Next day after my purchase. Dealership did not honor that also for some reason my discount coupon from Hyundai did not have my full last name

He made sure everything was in place before I arrived and was instrumental in getting the process started on the right foot. Finally, Joel in finance was fantastic to work with. He walked me through all the paperwork clearly, answered my questions patiently, and made the financial part of the transaction easy to understand and comfortable. This team worked together seamlessly to make my experience a positive one. I’m thrilled with my new vehicle and would highly recommend Hyundai of Poway to anyone in the market for a new car.

BEWARE!! saw an add for a Hyundai Tucson on their website. It had a price and carfax info stating it was never in an accident. Was there for 2 hours. When I agreed to the price of the car the manager brought out a sheet that said $4000 more. Told me you had to buy these extras. Also reduced my trade in by $1600! When we came to an agreement they brought out a paper they wanted me to sign from CarMax saying the car was in an accident. They changed the carmax report when I was there!! Needless to say I left. They are crooks!! It is making me rate a star to post
