Carlsen Subaru's Aaron Ashely. That is the agent who sold me my Subaru Forester hybrid. We negotiated the price by email -- very quick, direct, no-nonsense, quick responses. He made an initial offer that set it aside from all the other inquiries which started with MSRP. And from there we agreed within an hour. Then he helped make it stress-free with an e-sign process. We used Trucar to understand local prices and get inquiries. We got a slightly better offer closer to us, but decided to go with Carlsen Subaru because Aaron seemed trustworthy and above board. We were not disappointed having just take possession. I will use him for all my future Subaru purchases, even though the dealership is 30 miles from us.

They seemed very dishonest and wasted my time. I live almost two hours from this dealership. I found the car I was looking for online. and contacted them to arrange a time to go check it out. i told them i could probably make it down there that day and they told me that another person was coming to look at it that afternoon. i arranged for a friend to come with me and drove 2 hours to go get this car only to immediately find a big dent in the side of it. it was the very first thing i saw when i walked up to the car, very obvious. the salesman said that he had seen the car 10-15 times and never noticed the dent so it must have just happened. the car looked clean in the photos and it said there were no accidents and no damage. i looked back at the photos though, and now that i know its there, when i zoom in, i can barely see it. so it was there the whole time... they didn't post any good photos of the damage or mention it online. they tried to play it off like maybe someone opened the door and dented it, which was honestly laughable...this was a large dent damaging the front and rear door and it also cracked the plastic trim. not a door ding. they told me they could fix the dent, but i would have to go home and come back for the car another day (remember i live 2 hours away). of they could take $300 off the total to take the car that day, as is, and have it fixed myself. again...laughable. no one is going to fix a dent that bad, on both doors, and the trim piece for $300... ultimately i think they just hoped i would be desperate and not want to make the drive again since i lived so far away, which they knew ahead of time. i wouldn't be surprised if the "other person" coming to look at the car was totally made up as well. overall a horrible experience. the type of experience that makes people hate car salesman honestly. i would not recommend.

I have purchased vehicles from several different dealerships over the years. The team at carlsen is by far the best. Kirk in sales, Jeff in finance and the sales manager were all very helpful. No pressure and get you in and out fast. I drove 2 hours to get there and I would do it again. Thanks for making car buying less stressful.

Horrible customer service. Bought two cars from them and wanted to buy third one. The person who I wanted to buy is no longer there. Salesman Kirk and Kenny really need to improve their customer service especially loyal customers. Wanted to buy from there to save $400-500 compared to Albany but now for sure after second call will never buy. Horrible customer service.

I had my 2009 Subaru Forester serviced at Carlsen Subaru, and they did a great job. So when I was ready for an electric car, I leased from Carlsen. The staff was friendly and efficient, and helped me learn all the new systems on the Solterra. I highly recommend Carlsen Subaru.
